This charming Marble Falls restaurant is so serious about pie, from the stellar meringues (the lemon is excellent) to fruit-jammed ones to the apple made without added sugar. Duck back into Round Rock for this charming bakery that pulls influences from its co-owners’ backgrounds in Mexico and Bolivia through the sweet and savory menus. The really good pies, though, are classic American, with all sorts of fruit options like strawberry rhubarb and Dutch apple, as well as peanut butter and bourbon pecan. Takeout orders can be placed in person or over the phone; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas.

Pie portions can be hefty, so might as well make one of those servings a tiny one. Not just a gimmick, these small pies are made with well-sourced ingredients by the mother/daughter team with bakery locations throughout the city. Takeout and delivery orders can be placed online; typically there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas.

The vintage shop clearly has the right attitude about pie. Its slogan is: "Where good pie is more than a memory.” The menu spans cream, fruit (yes, peach is an option), and pecan. There are also pies made with Splenda for those who want the baked goods without sugar. Takeout orders can be placed in person; whole pie preorders can be placed over the phone; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas. Check the bakery’s website ahead of time because it’s been taking days off throughout the year.

Kyle is the pie capital of Texas for a very sweet reason. The restaurant features a giant fake pie fixed to the awning, and yes, the pie is really good. The menu is very long, so there’s always a new flavor to try — the strawberry-peach sounds dreamy. Takeout orders can be placed in person or online; there are indoor dine-in areas. Currently, the bakery’s national shipments are on pause because it’s too hot for shipping pies.
